Nexus Talent Network (“Nexus Talent Network,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides recruitment matchmaking services connecting job seekers and employers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through nexustalentnetwork.com (the “Site”) and our related services, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to job seekers, candidates, employer and client contacts, and other visitors to the Site.

By using the Site or providing your information to us (including by phone, text message, email, or web form), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
  • Professional information, such as your resume, work history, job title, employer, skills, certifications, and references (for job seekers).
  • Business information, such as company name, job openings, and hiring needs (for employer and client contacts).
  • Communications you send us, including messages submitted through contact or application forms, email, phone calls, and text messages.
  • Text messaging opt-in and consent records, meaning the fact that you agreed to receive SMS/text messages from us, the phone number associated with that consent, and the date, method, and scope of that consent (collected via a web form checkbox or documented verbally/in person by a recruiter).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data such as pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site, collected through analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Device and log information such as IP address, browser type, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 6 (Cookies and Analytics) below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Match job seekers with relevant employers and job opportunities, and match employers with candidates.
  • Communicate with you about applications, job openings, hiring needs, and account or service updates.
  • Send text messages and emails you have opted in to receive, including recruiting updates, job alerts, and interview or scheduling notifications.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and policies.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program and Consent

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, Nexus Talent Network may send you recruiting-related text messages, which may include job alerts, application updates, interview scheduling, and similar communications, using an autodialer or automated system where applicable.

3.1 Who Opts In and How

  • Job seekers/candidates: by checking an opt-in box on a Site application or contact form.
  • Employer/client contacts: by checking an opt-in box on a Site contact or intake form.
  • Individuals who provide verbal or in-person consent (for example, during a call or meeting with a recruiter), which our team logs and retains internally as a record of consent.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of using our services or of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to opt out of future text messages. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 9 (Contact Us).

3.2 Consent Is Not Transferable

Consent you give Nexus Talent Network to receive text messages applies only to communications from Nexus Talent Network. It is not shared with, and cannot be used by, any other company. For example, consent you give to one business to send you text messages cannot be reused by a different, unaffiliated business to text you — and we do not reuse other companies’ consent records, nor do we pass ours along for others to use.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited categories of information as described below — subject always to the carve-out in Section 4.1.

  • With employers or candidates, as applicable, to facilitate a match, application, or hiring process you have requested.
  • With service providers who help us operate the Site and our business (for example, website hosting and analytics providers), under obligations to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.
  • If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Nexus Talent Network, our users, or others.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to this Policy’s protections.

4.1 No Sharing of Phone Numbers or SMS Opt-In Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties, for any purpose.

This carve-out applies regardless of any other data-sharing practice described elsewhere in this Policy. Your mobile phone number and your text-message opt-in/consent record are collected and used solely by Nexus Talent Network for the purposes described in Section 3, and are never sold, rented, licensed, or otherwise disclosed to third parties or affiliates.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information, including SMS consent records, for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate consent records, comply with legal and recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

6. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our services. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. We do not use cookies to collect or infer SMS consent, and cookie/analytics data is not combined with your phone number or SMS opt-in record for sharing with third parties.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us (Section 9).
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email address below.
  • Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws (for example, the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion). We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We will respond to verifiable requests within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
